Pink Zebra!

I have been coming up with new ideas every day!  Love making these necklaces.  Not only for little girls but now I am getting request to make them for the ladies!  Would love to make them for weddings and proms.  This one that I have pictured above is one of my favorites.  Love the sequent beads. They are beautiful!  The picture doesn't give it justice. Love the zebra print beads too.  That is really in right now.  I have sold a few of the zebra print necklaces.  Also, if you aren't much of a pink person just think of it with white, yellow, teal, blue or red sequent beads.  The colors are almost limitless.  There is also cheetah and leopard print beads as well.  So let you imagination go and tell me what you would like and I will do my best to satisfy your desire!!!

Seeking Him

This week has been inspiring to me.  I'm learning some new things that I am hoping with help me to seek what God's wants not what I want.  I know He has made me to encourage and lift others up, so I am working on channeling that and how He wants me to do it.  I know that my love for making things is a very huge part of how it will be accomplished.  Seeking Him first in everything I do hasn't been my first priority.  I have been doing then seeking and that isn't working so well.  So to get myself to the place I need to be I am reading how to have a God Habit.  Joyce Meyer just came out with a new book call "Making Good Habits".  It is amazing and one that is hard to put down once you get into reading it.  It is helping me see that God has to be my most important habit and one that I can't put aside.  I have thought about how easily I put Him aside when things get crazy and the habits I want to break are so hard to let go of.  That is so silly to think about.  When I need Him the most is when I put Him aside.  He is the one thing I need to keep in my daily routine no matter how crazy it gets.  I long to know what He would have me do - even if it may be hard.  But I know He has my best interest at heart.  He loves me no matter what.  But what He loves is when I seek Him first in all that I do.  One thing I learned and will continue to learn is that if I seek Him everything else will fall into place!

But seek first HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Matthew 6:33

New Ideas!

One of my good friends told me about these precious necklaces for little girls.  I have been having a ball making them.  I had been making bracelets but not necklaces.  They make a picture so CUTE!  We took one of my granddaughters to Walmart to have her picture made and it is precious!  I am making them and everyone is so different.  Really cute for Easter as well.  Just thought I would post what I am making now.  Always something new to do! This one I made for my daughter-in-law!  She loved it and her daughters got ones to match their Easter dresses too!  So fun spoiling my girls!

New Creation!

I am so excited to have learned how to do something new on my Cricut Machine!  I did my first window with a scripture on it.  I had no idea when starting how long it would take and it did take a while since it was my first one.  I had to figure out the best way to get it centered and the lines straight.  It took me 4 hours to complete it because it was a trial and error kind of thing.  That is not always the fun part of being creative but it is part of it with some things.  I am one of those people that I get it in my head and just go for it and hope for the best.  Most of the time that works really good for me. From that point it just gets better as I grow in the creativity.  In doing this picture you have to measure, and measure, and measure more.  It will be the same way with any of them I do because with the Cricut I can only go up to 24 inches for a line. I was very fortunate that this one worked out perfectly with the 24 inches and the size of letters I needed.  I also learned a lot about my machine. I am praying for this to be more than just a moment in time.  I have always loved crafting but never took it seriously until now.  Especially with doing jewelry.  I'm also hoping in time that it will make me enough money to be able to do it full-time.  That would be such a blessing.  I absolutly love doing things that are personalized for each individual.  I have found that people really like that too - it makes them feel special.
